I'm Worthy

Workout tracker for iPhone

A strength-training log built around machine workouts. It comes loaded with Hammer Strength, Matrix, Nautilus and Star Trac machines, Smith machine lifts and bodyweight exercises, then works out what to lift next, which muscles are still recovering, and whether the day is in balance.

Platform
iPhone, iOS 27
Last update
October 24, 2026
Status
In final development. A TestFlight beta follows once Apple approves the developer account, then the App Store as I’m Worthy Workout Tracker.
Data
Workouts stay on the phone. Steps and State of Mind are read from Apple Health when you allow it.
Built with
SwiftUI, HealthKit, on-device Apple Intelligence

The biggest changes from the last two weeks. The full list is under Updates.

October 24

More machines, by maker

Matrix, Nautilus and Star Trac selectorized machines are built in, one exercise per movement, and each maker gets its own section under Machine. If you already added one yourself, your copy and its history stay the one you see.

October 17

A daily 天地人 ring

Three arcs on the Dashboard for heaven, earth and person: Mind fills with State of Mind check-ins, Body with steps, Practice with the week's workouts. When all three are full, the ring reads “In balance”.

How do you feel right now?

Finishing a workout now asks how you feel on Apple's seven-step State of Mind scale. The answer is kept with the workout, shapes its report, and saves to Apple Health.

What's in the app

Made for lifting on machines, with the numbers worked out in code and explained in plain words.

Progression that thinks ahead

Each exercise can run on Standard double progression (fill the rep range, then add load) or Autoregulated by reps in reserve, which estimates a one-rep max and works back to a target load. One session never moves the weight more than 10%, and time off eases the load back in rather than dropping you at your old numbers.

Machines from the brands in your gym

Hammer Strength Iso-Lateral, cable, Smith and Full Motion Smith sections, plus Matrix, Nautilus and Star Trac machines each in their own section. Add your own, and name it “Maker: Movement” to file it with its maker.

Muscle recovery map

A body map shows what is still tired right now, from grey to orange to red. Stabilizers count for less on machines. When a muscle has not recovered, the next suggestion holds the load or drops a set.

Weekly volume at a glance

See which muscles you trained and how much, per workout or across the week, against typical weekly set targets. Gaps show up before they become habits.

A daily 天地人 ring

Mind, Body and Practice in one ring, against goals you set: State of Mind check-ins a day, a step goal and workouts a week.

Built for the gym floor

One exercise open at a time, sets ticked off as you go, optional reps in reserve, and remembered machine setups: seat and handle positions, cable attachments.

A Log you can fix

Add a workout you forgot to record, correct a set after the fact, and add notes. Recovery and the next suggestion follow the change.

Reports written on the phone

Every number in the post-workout report is computed in code. Apple Intelligence writes only the wording, on the device, and its output is checked so it cannot invent figures. Nothing goes to a server.

Apple Health, both ways

Finished workouts save as Traditional Strength Training with your effort rating. “How do you feel right now?” saves as a State of Mind entry. A Step Log marks every day you hit your step goal with a trophy.

Research you can read

The app cites the studies behind its recovery and volume models in an in-app Acknowledgements screen. A daily quote from Bruce Lee, athletes and coaches is on the Dashboard.

Updates

What changed in development, newest first.

October 24, 2026

Matrix, Nautilus and Star Trac machines

  • Selectorized machines from Matrix (Aura, Ultra, Versa and Go) and Nautilus (Impact, Inspiration and Instinct) are built in, one exercise per movement, with combo machines split into their movements.
  • Star Trac's strength lines now continue as Nautilus's, so Star Trac gets the same movements.
  • Each maker has its own section under Machine, A to Z between Full Motion Smith Machine and Other Machines. Name a machine “Maker: Movement” and it files there too.
  • A built-in machine stays hidden if you already added the same one yourself, so your copy and its history are the ones you pick.

Sharper numbers after a formula review

  • The next session's load comes from your best rated set, so tiring in later sets no longer pulls the starting weight down.
  • Sets without a reps-in-reserve rating count the same way for muscle usage as they do for recovery and progression.
  • Light sets taken close to failure count as working sets, not warm-ups.
  • After more than eight weeks off, loads ease back in at 85%.
  • Bodyweight exercises judge progress by total reps.

Renamed I'm Worthy, with a balance ring

  • The app is now called I'm Worthy.
  • Finishing a workout asks “How do you feel right now?” and saves the answer to Apple Health as a State of Mind.
  • The Dashboard's 天地人 ring for Mind, Body and Practice, with a new Mental Check-in Goal of one to five a day.
  • A quote card with Bruce Lee and 49 quotes from athletes and coaches, each signed by its author.
  • A simpler Profile: Goals, Settings and Acknowledgements fold away, and body measurements are gone, so the app no longer asks Apple Health for weight or body fat.
  • The Log's calendar has an Add Workout button beside the month title.
October 15–16, 2026

The Dashboard becomes home, plus a Step Log

  • No more tab bar: the Dashboard is home, with a floating Start button that stays put while you scroll.
  • A Step Log: a calendar with a trophy on each day you met your step goal, and a month summary.
  • Add a past workout from the Log, and add notes that the workout report takes into account.
  • Fixes from a full code audit: a retried Apple Health save replaces a half-saved copy, past workouts stay on their own day, and picking an exercise already in the workout opens it instead of adding it twice.
October 10–12, 2026

Muscles worked, Smith machines and editable sets

  • A Muscles Worked map beside Recovery, and a weekly view coloured by sets per muscle against research-based targets.
  • Smith Machine and Full Motion Smith Machine sections, with 14 and 10 exercises.
  • Stabilizers count for less on machines, and Apple Intelligence suggests the muscles for an exercise you add yourself.
  • Correct a logged set from a past workout.
  • Choose the day your week starts, and the app's icon arrives.
October 1–7, 2026 First build

A workout tracker that suggests your sets

  • Log machine, free-weight and bodyweight workouts, with suggested sets and loads for every exercise.
  • Pull down from a workout's title to see the muscles it worked.
